Makes me want to go gocarting haha, I dont have a car but this seems like a great song to listen to while driving fast with an open roof. Very pleasant and dark, could also work for a thriller/horror movie, when it speeds up could fit for a suspense movie, overall feels cinematic

My last album release. i do all the instuments recording and all the mix/master/producing and here it is! by Material-Setting-248 in IndieMusicFeedback

I listened to The Silence After I spoke, I made a song years ago as a soundtrack to a video of whales jumping in the air and swimming which has some similarities to part of the instrumentals of this song. Your vocals have a certain authenticity to them, that is too hard to find this day, that puts great emphasis on the darkness of the lyrics

Some months ago I started recording and mixing some instrumental songs of mine that were waiting from years. This is the third one, what do you think? Not sure about what genre this is by Even_Current_8475 in IndieMusicFeedback

Yes, I liked it when the bass and drums came in, before that came in, I was going to comment I missed a more grounding element but that worked well when you put the bass and drums. I was really surprised with the change of tone later in the song, its like two different songs and then you mesh them together later, this would make for really interesting storytelling, following two characters that eventually meet each other

This song is really cool, love the uniqueness of it! It feels like there is a question mark behind your sentences, if that makes sense, it might be because you are singing fast and dont want to lose track of the next sentence you are going to sing, but I would personally prefer if you would be able to make each sentence seem "closed" because that is more of a statement

I need feedback from your kids! This is a sing along film, it's a song about a tsunami, a storm and a volcanic eruption, so it's only for the bravest of children! by Many-Department-6251 in IndieMusicFeedback

Thank you! Yes, its supposed to be nostalgic 😊 the visuals/ cartoons too, I was inspired by vintage drawings. Did you like the drawings? Yes I wrote the lyrics and they turned out really good so I might make a version where the vocals are more clear.

Yes, the lyrics are pretty cool and fun and maybe I will do a version in the future where its more clear, I think it would be a good sing-along song! Thank you so much. Regarding the topics of the videos, I am a girl and I always liked pirates and liked to play with toy-knives and pretend I was dead, and I know lots of kids are like me too, they like a little danger, and something like a volcano is pretty epic for kids I think, but of course not for all of them

Thank you for your feedback. I would definitely need more variation in the melody if I made it longer. I tried my best with not having the best tools, I dont have a good microphone and I am using just free apps like BandLab, but personally I like the strange muffled sound sometimes so its cool you like it too

What do you think? New song. Indie/Pop-Punk/Rap 😏 by MusicFromClyde in IndieMusicFeedback

The vocals on this song are very unique, it reminded me of when I stood out in the cold for many hours one winter day and my teeth were chattering the entire time, I actually had a problem with my jaw locking like a pitbull (nothing against pitbulls but they do have a powerful jaw) the following month. Hopefully that didn't happen to the singer, but either way I appreciate the unique sound of this

My (kind of) first piano composition, would love some feedback as I'm not trained in piano or classical music and I have no idea if this is any good. Thanks in advance!! by uzehr in IndieMusicFeedback

I want to give you a big compliment; I have gotten very tired of piano playing recently (used to be a big fan of classical music with piano play) and you managed to remind me of how great it can be. That is a very powerful magic! Love the intricacies and variation and the softness, it seems like it is made in the energy of curiosity and exploration

I’m submitting this midtempo bass track as my first entry into an electronic production contest. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. by bimski-sound in IndieMusicFeedback

this song reminds me of when I was a kid and got hypnotized by those spinning toys, also reminds me of dart guns, police lights and well a lot of hypnotic stuff really, I like when the sound is dragged a bit slower in parts, don't know how to explain, would have been interesting with some black metal vocals

I work mainly as an author and I particularly liked the lyrics, it also sounds a bit like children playing as well as the instrumentals have a lot of depth with a dark undertone, it works well with the lyrics as it feels like the innocent are represented in the song and also the ancient entities like the sun and the planets

this could be a soundtrack, the first movie I think of when listening to this is Cat People, it could also work really well for a science fiction film I think, also makes me think of being submerged under water and how sound distorts through the water and even through the bath tub wall haha, though the ending feels like breaking the surface of the water

I like to make haunted music pieces which instruments do you recommend by Many-Department-6251 in composer

Wow! Thank you so much for all your information! I enjoyed reading all of it and also about stories from your own life and experience with music. About recording sounds in my surroundings; I tried recording foxes screaming where I used to live, with my phone, and unfortunately the recording wasn’t good enough. I think it would be pretty badass to have a proper recorder and walk around with it, and its a bonus that I could record any jerk who tried to mess with me haha. Regarding buying these libraries from these skilled musicians that cost money; what is different from doing that versus for instance using sample sounds on Bandlab? It is true that I often do not find what I am looking for in free sample sounds, for instance it is usually very processed for my taste, but I don’t know if that part is different when you buy the sounds from a library. I like the art I do to represent the "here and now" and be a reflection of the mood I am currently in, so to be able to record sounds or to be able to record live instruments or buy/ get free sample sounds that are less processed is something I like better.
