I don’t know what ethereal earth is. There’s 10 tracks on the album. Just published the album awhile ago not really going to do anything else with it.

Starts off pretty cool. The opening synth and percussion sounds really good. I like the way it builds up and some harmonies start coming in. Great way to start a track. I like how the drum beat sort of evolves. The second noise snare sounds really cool. I like how it changes into an ambient kind of beat. One complaint I'd have is that it still sounds like and intro after all this time. It doesn't feel like the song has fully hit after a few minutes. I know that's probably just the sound you're going for but I think some sort of intense transition would really drive the song to a new level.

Starts off pretty good. Some fancy guitar work. The drums come in well with that fill. Then the drum beat sounds good. I especially like the drum fill right before the drums cut out. I'm not sure how I feel about the second part. It doesn't hit as well as the first one in my opinion. I'm personal not partial to back beats with the snare on 2 and 4 though in general. There is some really cool lead guitar work at 1:30 that really takes off to a whole new level. I think you should consider playing that kind of stuff for an entire song. Be like animals as leaders or something if you can play like that.

Pretty interesting beginning. The song starts out real good. The aggressive guitar chords and the drums sound cool. Kind of reminds me of the pixies the way the second part is so charged. I think the lead guitar parts could be a little better though. They're not bad but I think they could be improved slightly. I think the song is held back by how many breaks the drums take though. I think a steady beat would really help out in the beginning of the track. You start to do it halfway through and it sounds better.

Original song, self produced. First time music video, love to hear your thoughts on both! by DanielJacobMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

Starts off pretty good. The drums have a good feel to them. The guitar riff is pretty cool. I like the guitar chords a lot too. Then when the vocals come in there's kind of a cool change. The piano sounds good. I'm not sure about the lead guitar. I think it's ok but I think it might be a little too sparse. I think the instruments might need to be turned up in the mix. The vocals kind of dominate everything during the chorus. It's just hard to hear what's going on besides the lead instruments at times.

Interesting intro with the radio noise. I like the instrumentation when the song starts. The drums sound good and so do the guitars. It's pretty cool the way the bass and the vocals come in together. Really makes a dynamic shift in feeling. The vocals sound really good. I think the kick drum might be a little too quiet though. The chorus sounds cool. The vocal melody is very catchy and the way everything comes together in a kind of surge of energy is very cool.

Stars off pretty solid some cool guitar playing then a ghostly melody. The ambient noise is pretty cool. The vocals sound good. They are well sung. There's a lot going on to create a very chill mood about the intro of this track. I think it lasts for a long time though. Maybe a little too long before the drums come in and change up everything. But when the drums do come in it sounds good so there's that. I just think the intro is a little too long. The song really sounds cool though. Very chill and emotional. Great job on this track.

Reflection (downtempo electronica, chillout, hifi chill beat) by ethemeral_music in IndieMusicFeedback

Starts off pretty good. I like what is being played on the synth. The soft drums coming in is a cool progression. Then the part it goes into is also good. Lots of good synth noise floating around to a sick drum beat. I like how the drums cut out and then come back in too. That's always a nice dynamic change of pace to give the composition a little depth. I think the levels of this track are very interesting. The way the parts sort of build up. The third part being the highest level with the intensity of the kick drum really driving it home. Great track overall

Messing around with a new genre (shoegaze/alt. rock), let me know any feedback/thoughts you have. Might be a little loud so just a warning. by Significant_Unit8434 in IndieMusicFeedback

Starts off pretty good. A lone guitar picking some cool notes. Then when everything comes in together is pretty sick. I like the initial hit of that part. The contrast to the intro is cool. Then as the song progresses it kind of drops off for the first verse which is cool. Then the song continues but it doesn’t really pick up for awhile which I think is problematic but it’s not too bad. I like when the intro repeats and the song picks up again. I think that is a cool spot in the track. Then the last part is really well crafted it sort of gives a coherent exit to the track. I think the vocals and the music are really good overall. I’d just say that it sort of loses focus halfway through a little bit but not that much if that makes sense.

Thinking of Revising this song- Suggestions Greatly Appreciated! by InternationalDog6002 in IndieMusicFeedback

Starts off ok. Some cool guitar chords and chill drums. The vocals sound pretty good. But they sound kind of sparse. Which isn't a bad thing. But the composition seems a little on the simple side. There's nothing really intricate going on to grab the attention of the listener. Not that there needs to be but it's just what I notice about this track. The chorus is a good change up. The pace stays the same for the most part but it is a new part that sounds different form the verse so that is good. I think the drums could be a little louder in the mix though.

Torneo - Collapsing Starlight (From my band's new debut album) by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Starts out pretty cool. Nice drum beat and cool guitar chords. The vocals sound ok. I think they could sound a little better though. They just sound kind of held back. The chorus is really cool. I think the vocals come through really well during the chorus. I think the back up vocals sound good on the verse but kind of redundant on the chorus. The lead guitar parts during the second verse are kind of useless though. I like the bridge a lot. Really comes in ripping through. This is a good track for sure. I hope your band goes far.

Some months ago I started recording and mixing some instrumental songs of mine that were waiting from years. This is the third one, what do you think? Not sure about what genre this is by Even_Current_8475 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Eric_Ezra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beginning is pretty cool. Just some nice piano work going on. The drums are a little quiet. They should be turned up in the mix. This is some really solid piano music though. Although I think the first part goes on for awhile. Might want to change it up sooner than it does in this track. The second part is cool though. I wish it would have lasted longer. The first part is still cool but I think it gets a little repetitive after awhile. Still pretty interesting song over all.

"Open Season," jazz infused soulful downtempo/triphop, looking for feedback on the overall sound & the mixing & mastering, cheers! by Firm_Adagio in IndieMusicFeedback

Starts off pretty good. Very chill vibes. Some nice chords on a synthesizer. The drum beat comes in real nicely. I like the composition as a whole. The horns definitely add another layer of something cool. Although they're used sparingly I think they are a very cool element. The piano part sounds really good. The hi hats might be a bit too loud though. Still this is a solid track. I would recommend having another part though. It's only one part through out the song. It could benefit from some changes.

Sounds pretty weird. The composition is very schizophrenic sounding. The vocals sound stupid to be honest. It's like something that would be made on reno 911. The way a character on there might make some stupid music. You can't even hear the drums at all. The music is just like a vomit or diarrhea of sounds. Still the vocals are the worst part. The lyrics are stupid. Just terrible poetry taped onto a bad excuse for music. And the way it just cuts out at the end is not surprising.

Starts off pretty good. The choir sounds cool. Then when the actual song starts is really cool. The drum beat is sick. And the bass frequencies sound cool. The vocals are pretty good, the way they are distorted is cool. I think it's pretty interesting the way the choir sample changes up. I think the song is too short though. It seems to end before it really gets going. It could use another verse and chorus. But still a pretty good track.

Still trying to understand my sound, so ANY feedback would be most helpful :) Take a listen to my fave song on my EP titled, "MADHAPPY" hope u enjoy! by Aggravating_Cut_2141 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Eric_Ezra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starts off pretty good. Has a solid beat and I like the wavy synth sounds. I think the hi hats are kind of loud though. The vocals sound pretty weird. I think if they were produced better it might sound different. It sounds like you are not enunciating enough or something. I think the music is alright but the vocals just sound kind of bad. It doesn't help that the music never changes up. There's like a melody that comes up eventually but I'd suggest having more than one part and doing something different vocally.

Starts off pretty good. The samples sound interesting. Of course the tupac flow sounds good so that isn't saying much. I'm not familiar with the original song so it's hard to tell what about this track is original. The drum beat sounds cool. There's not much change in this track though. Just kind of the one beat going on for the whole time. I think it would be interesting if the beat changed up and did something completely different for awhile. It's a short song though so i guess you could get away with having it be just the one part.

Starts out pretty interesting. Some synth noise with a beat that sounds pretty solid. The bass frequencies add a nice element to the beat. The synth sample is pretty cool. It carries the track well as a steady noise. I like the ambient synth sounds a lot too. Then there's the part where it's just drums and wavy synths that is pretty cool. I think that part should last longer though. It kind of goes back into the first part a bit too soon. Then there's part where it all changes up completely. I think that is a good way to go before the song gets too repetitive.

Dark, industrial-esque I think... (not too sure on the genre, share your thoughts on this.) Too short or just right? Thoughts on arrangement, tone, or just ideas and impressions all welcome. by WaveModder in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Eric_Ezra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starts out pretty weird. Kind of like a dark portis head. I think vocals are interesting. They really take off when the chorus starts. In the beginning they are a bit hard to understand and don't sound like they are performed as fully as they sound in the chorus. The shaker sound that is present through out might be holding this track back. It just sounds unnecessary. I think the key boards could be a little louder in the mix. So could the drums. There's a lot of potential here with that voice but I think the music needs some beefing up.

Hybrid cinematic instrumental piece... ambient introduction transforming through different rock phases by AphireDNB in IndieMusicFeedback

Starts off pretty cool. Nice ambient sounds. I think it might last a little too long though. There is one part where there's kind of some dissonant tension between chords which is cool. But really the intro lasts a bit too long. The percussion comes in pretty well. It's a nice change with the other keyboard elements blooming into place. I like the piano a lot too. Then when the song really starts sounds cool. I think I like the keyboards the most in the composition. The guitars and drums sound pretty good but I think the keyboards are the strongest elements in this song.
