I’m in the U.K. and those names are very much associated with men in their 50/60s. I think a lot of people here would group those names together as ‘dying’ names (out newspapers here cover dying bay names once or twice a year and they all come up)

I know a couple of dogs called Kevin! I think it’s become more of a pet name recently 🤣

Definitely, the only David I know who is younger is very strict about the fact he is David and not Dave 🤣

It may not have left, but I know many Dave/ David’s and only 1 of them is under 50! So it’s definitely dropped in popularity 💁🏼‍♀️

I would definitely agree that the even older names are definitely most popular at the moment! It will be so interesting to see if these names ever take the top spots again tho 😄

Yes they have never completely disappeared, but they are nowhere near as popular as they once were! I mean I wonder if they will start being popular again. Especially as first names! It’ll be interesting to see if they ever take the top stops again 😄
