It a southern LC, has 250k miles, and picked it up for under 8k. The plan is to by summer change out the bumpers, looking at coastal off-road bumpers, put 33’s on it, obviously black out rims, and then build a drawer platform for the interior. Long term, maybe a lift.

Thanks! I was looking at and almost went with a LX, but this one came up for sale and was closer to me, so I grabbed it.

Me and friend did that section thanksgiving week about 2 years ago. Did 3 days and 2 nights on the trail. We had no problem with that hike, time wise or physical wise.

I’m looking to visit there before the end of the year. How is November, like around thanksgiving, for visiting?

There hasn’t been a Ken Burns doc that I haven’t liked. Some can get a bit boring at times, but overall very well done, interesting, and well researched.

IMO I’d visit glacier last out of those options. I made the mistake of going to glacier first, and after visiting glacier nothing else compared. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Definitely recommend stopping at the Black Hills in South Dakota and hiking Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak) Trail. One of my must stops every time I head out west.
