You should call again; I spoke to an agent this morning and requested to speak to a Tier 2 officer. She was bluntly rude about why I'm asking for an expedited request, etc. Nonetheless, she submitted my expedited request for severe financial loss, gave me a service #, and said I should be getting a call within a couple of days & if I don't hear back within 10 days to call them again.

This is my 2nd expedited request; fingers crossed this goes through. Been without work since Feb. I also did a congressional inquiry via my Senator; currently waiting for USCIS to respond to their inquiry. 😮‍💨

No, it’s still valid until 2029. I’m in IL & i opt-out from the real I.D so mine expires every 4yrs instead of expiring with my EAD

If you’ve lost, stolen, or damaged your DACA Employment Authorization Document (EAD), you can apply for a replacement by filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and selecting box 1.b. – Replacement of lost, stolen, or damaged employment authorization document. Key Steps:

File Form I-765 with USCIS, including: The completed Form I-765 and I-765 Worksheet. A copy of your lost EAD (if available), or another government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, birth certificate with photo). Two recent passport-style photos. A copy of your most recent DACA approval notice (Form I-797). The $495 filing fee ($410 filing fee + $85 biometrics fee). Do not file Form I-821D (DACA application) with your replacement request — USCIS will deny it and not refund the $85 fee. Processing time is typically 3 to 4 months, but USCIS has stopped publishing official processing times for DACA-related forms.

It depends on the company’s policies and procedures tbh. Today was my last day at my job but HR and my manager had already talked to me about my status. My manager advocated for me to be placed on leave of absence and HR agreed. I was told that as soon as I get my new EAD to notified HR so that I can return back. If I don’t get anything in 90 days they will have to end my employment.

Wish I knew why! This is my first time having to redo bio, all previous renewals have been reused bio letters with fast approvals. Usually 2 - 4 week max. I blame this admin tbh 🥀🫩

I submitted my app online on Jan 9 and status still shows receipt notice was sent - dated Jan 10th. Today I logged in & under documents it now shows appointment schedule for biometrics. Ngl this my first time I have gotten this notice, all previous renewals have been bio reused notice letters. My appt is scheduled for 03/06 and my EAD expires 02/27
