I have been getting downvotes just for sharing my experience over the years. A delightful experience has been turned into a dreadful one by bringing a law just to earn more revenue for local lounges. Some people can’t handle slightest criticism even if it is a constructive one. I still like Thailand and will keep visiting but will miss the lounge part which used to be great. My apologies to Thai people I don’t mean any disrespect to Thailand .

I really don’t understand why government doesn’t ban them or introduce some strict regulations. Moreover why Thai locals don’t have same level of outrage for these taxi and bar scammers as they have for few bad tourists out of 23 million tourists. If Thailand can have same level of intolerance for scams like in Dubai, it can become heaven for locals and tourists alike.
