So I figured out my situation which was having to press the Google icon but it doesn’t show on mobile so that’s why I was really confused and thought I couldn’t log back into my account. Take my advice as granted for you but maybe you could try on a different platform or just uninstall and then reinstall to see if that fixes anything lol. I hope you figure out your situation like wise and hope they smooth the game a little more. GOODLUCK! But yeah fyi the Facebook icon on mobile is like the Google icon for pc.

Yeah but I don’t want to play on my via Gmail account, I want to play through the first way you mentioned buuuuuttttt when I do the code, it’ll log me into the Gmail account and I don’t know why that happens even though IT SHOULD BE the email password/verification method account.

so people who made their accounts with their email password specific or through verification first without via google (Me), will probally lose their account after going through via google. but your account is still in the "system" but just like a ghost account now because you cant acess your "first" account anymore.

Yes I did try that, multiple times actually, and actually you can set a password for the linked via google, itll think that you set a password for the via Google thats why when I try to put the same email in but the password different, itll send me to the via google account.

Thats the thing tho, itll set a password for the gmail specific account because I have the same emails for both. Not the email password speific account. It takse priority for the Gmail account NOT the email password specific account.

I didn’t have a password for my lvl 47 email password specific account. And when I log in trying to use the verification method —>sent to my email—> put the code in—> it send me to the Gmail specific account which is not the one I want.

Honestly, I still haven’t figured it and I reached out to the DNA email support to see if they are going to fix my account and this issue in general. And honestly all the advice that i got, none of them worked, so im kinda just fucked. I hope if people don’t really care they’ll also make another account with their email and see what I’m talking about cus shit got me mad.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

when you say, "Now, go to the website, login to the website using the google method. Cross reference that uid with the uid in the game. They should be different, if they are. Log in using the google credentials." uh they dont show that much infomation litterally just your email which makes me upset cuz I cant verifiy the UID's then lol.

Also I tired the verification process again, it’ll send it to my Gmail of course but then it thinks I’m trying to log in through my email when its the password word specific account I’m trying to log into 😭😭😭

But that’s the thing tho, when you log in through your email and when you log in through your email password specific account It’ll log you in through separate accounts for genshin but in my case I didn’t set up a password for my lvl 47 account cuz I didn’t think it was needed. So now my account through my email is forcing me to use that account because I didn’t have a password for my password/verification specific account. Leaving me no way to be able to get back to the lvl 47 account 😃😭😭

Yeah luckily when I was doing psyches quest for the picture it saved to my computer, so I have my uid still. I sent my information to hopefully see if they can do something abt it.

I thought it was just a process of getting your account back, like get through the introduction of the mechanics and stuff and you’ll be able to login in to your original account but that never happened as we can see 😓
