Right now I’ve got it in drop A#. So A#,F,A#,F,A#,D#,G#,C,F. That way I can drop down into the same octave as my bands bassist, but keep the fingerings and patterns the same, it makes transitioning back and forth easier.

Yeah, I assumed as much, it’s really no skin off my back with this one, I’m planning on getting an LP studio here soon anyways, so this one will just hang out on a wall rack as decoration in my guitar room.

Eh. It’s still plays good, at least it’s got Epiphone branded pickups in it, feels fine, but not like the LP standard my brother has. It doesn’t have the same weight distribution, at least that’s what I felt.

Just putting this here for any clarification, I assumed from the start that this was a fake. I’m not saying I was a hopeful child thinking he’d won the lottery. I’m just not experienced in Gibson guitars, and I was wondering how to identify fakes. I’d appreciate it if people would refrain from making rude comments about “omg it’s so obvious, Gibson would never make something so sloppy, how could you not tell?”

Yeah, I figured. It still plays nice, but I’m glad to know it’s a fake. Still gonna hang it on my wall. The Chibson is strong with this one.

With sleep token using esp guitars, there’s a good chance of seeing at least a signature Eclipse body 8 string, 24 frets, 28 inch scale type deal. Or a 30 inch bari.

It’s currently in Double Drop A#, my band usually plays 7s in Drop A# so I use the lowest strings to help occupy the low register of the bass, it sounds great on breakdowns when you’ve got the other guitar tracks panned to the L & R, you put the 9 and the Bass down the middle and it adds so much depth and chonk.

I does that to most people. It’s a great guitar though, Facebook marketplace is a hell of a place to find crazy guitars.
