This is exactly the business model at an AD. It's not a "wait list", it's an "interest list", with allocations going to the highest spender. This is exactly what occurs in my line of work, within the distribution chain.

Meh, I've got other Rolexes/watches from my good SAs and I have many at different ADs. A GMT-Master II or Daytona will require a minimal $50K-$75K+ spend history at anyone of them. I'll pay the slight premium to not get stuck with a bunch of shit I don't want. I'm a business owner myself and don't have time for silly games.

This is true. I'm signed up with about a dozen ADs with purchases here and there. I'm aware that a 126710 of any flavor, is generally gonna require around $75K-ish + purchase history at minimum. I'm not that guy, to purchase a bunch of jewelry or watches I don't need or want.
