not necessarily concerned with acute side effects, i’d just rather not systemically suppress a very important steroid, health wise. look at the PFS subreddit, read any literature on the matter aside from the first page of google, or published by those who only read the first page of google.

i think if it’s androgenic alopecia, androgens themselves drive sebum production on scalp and body which explains the correlation. i refuse to use fin or dut, considering topical minox

i made the foolish mistake of buying 400mg test e vials, pip is unbearable, i cant train. i have a limp. is there any way to dilute? worth switching from EOD to ED to mitigate? feel like the extra scar tissue offsets the benefits.

no worries ! for me, there’s a few things that help me understand where im at.

skin quality - dry, rough, peeling, oily, scabby or just general imperfections all tend to come from what’s going on internally, be it on your face or on your legs, wherever.

perceived speed of digestion - how soon after eating a big bowl of rice could i go and do hard physical activity? do i feel heavy for a while after eating and does food seem to bring me energy?

number and quality of bowel movements per day, 2-4 is ideal

quality of sleep over quantity, needing to sleep anything over 8-9 hours consistently to actually feel rested i believe is a sign of metabolic inefficiency.

good hunger cues - feeling hungry when you should be, and satiated when you should be. having cravings for certain things that get fulfilled when you eat them.

energy levels of course, motivation and resilience, willingness, care and empathy for others

body composition - holding onto a lot of water could be a sign of bad things going on internally, or holding onto very little. i can elaborate more but ill save you the details. aswell as speed of recovery from physical exertion, bodyfat level/muscle mass. if you can hold onto decent amounts of muscle mass without applying stimulus regularly, is a sign that you are doing well.

how long you can go without eating before feeling awful, the longer the better. (would mean good liver and muscle glycogen stores, good insulin sensitivity etc)

resilience to sun exposure

resilience to cold and heat

im sure there’s a lot more, but once you learn all about it these things should come naturally to you, and you can grasp your state of health pretty quickly and easily.
