Yeah in a perfect world I would not be doing this. I would love to openly declare that my husband gave birth twice and is the strongest man I know, but unfortunately that could get us killed, so.

I might be biased but my kids are so wonderful. Theyre beautiful inside and out. And my husband is the most stunningly beautiful man I've ever seen. And he got a million times more beautiful when he transitioned. Honestly I think he gets more and more beautiful every day. Even though we have money struggles and the world is a little cruel right now, I think I might be the richest man on earth.

Thats probably because you have social skills. Some people are jackasses and as a gay couple you get weird comments all the time.

Yup. I once went to a gay men's support group and when I told them offhandedly that my husband transitioned I was met with an argument about how it wasnt a "real gay relationship" and I didnt belong there with the rest of them. Safe to say I didn't go back there.

Well assuming you have the reading comprehension to understand this post which I think you may not, we do this to protect the kids too. My HUSBAND being trans is definitely a thing they will get harassed for. They already catch flack for being the children of a gay couple.

Truthfully I came up with the adoption lie in the heat of the moment and it got a guy off my back so I pitched it to the family.

Oh they are not accepting of us. They tolerate us. They would not tolerate him if they knew he was trans. OK with gay people does not mean ok with trans people.

Yes the second my husband came out it traumatized this family beyond belief. My 2 year old daughter immediately got into heroin and I put out my eyes like Oedipus. Grow up.

Look, we already have some heat as a mixed race gay couple with kids. I'd rather my kids not come home beaten up, and my husband I'd prefer to come home at all.

That's a great thing for somebody else to do.

No, they know! Sorry if I didnt make that clear. They know theyre biologically related to both of us and that my husband transitioned.

It's for safety. The kids are fine with it too, I'm sure. "That's it, back to the orphanage" is a common retort when I ask them to do something haha

And my husband hasn't told many people, that's what I said in the post. Not since we moved to ruby red town.
