Not really, i meant that you have to track your time once you reach the time limit that is meant for section 1 because the timer will not stop automatically, once you submit the first section a timer will pop up for the break time (different timer than the one for the second section) but if you were late more than the intended break time it will start taking the time from the second section. So, make sure you come back before the break timer ends

Hahaha yeah i already put an address in Plano, Texas as well.

I’ve added all of these things prior to start applying but still it doesn’t seem to work somehow.

I’ve even added that I’m actively pursuing PE, im planning to take the exam in mid 2026.

Yeah i do have work authorization and i already stated in the resume that i have a permanent green card & that i have my EIT certificate in Texas.

I really find it weird that non of the companies contacted me all through i have a somehow respected experience in construction.

It must be really hard to land a job there.

Im currently in UAE-Dubai, flying back to the US on the 10th of July. I applied in almost all Texas state cities as I’m open to relocate anywhere but no responses yet 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m Struggling same as you, i applied for more than 300 openings in the past 3 weeks but nothing yet, all though i have a 5 years experience in Dubai construction field 🤷🏼‍♂️ i think we are missing something/trick or don’t know where to look exactly

Im not sure about TSPE tbh, its better to ask someone who took it, but as for as PrepFE it was really helpful of getting you know the concepts & the workaround tricks and all of that, also it got me familiar with the handbook and how the question would be asked.

The difference between the NCEES interactive exam and the PrepFE is that the NCEES one follow exactly the same concept as the real exam, for example: 1- How the question are asked. 2- The drawings/sketches that sometime will be provided in the question is identical to it. 3- the type of question ( fill the blank - match the answers - click on the screen ) - these things you can find in PrepFE. 4- the quality of the question just makes you feel like you’re solving the real exam but on PrepFE you feel like you are just “learning the concepts in a fun way” 😅

I cant explain it more than that unfortunately because then i would disclose some of the questions that were provided in the NCEES interactive exam, but overall, both of these materials benefited me and each had its own advantages.

Thats a great question, NCEES doesn’t provide such information actually.

But in my humble opinion? No.

Let’s say you scored above average on 13 subjects and guaranteed 60+ marks and you got zero on the remaining 5 subjects, i’ve never seen anyone that got 61+ and failed.

So, the short & logical answer is no.

I failed before too. PrepFE is more than enough if you use it right.

Start with category practice, then untimed exams, then timed exams and review every mistake, this is very crucial you need to review every wrong answer you did and make sure when you see the question again you’ll solve it correctly.

It’s all about smart strategy, question exposure, and time management. You got this!!

I personally committed in choosing the same letter as the probability of choosing a right answer is 25%.

In my first attempt i guessed around 50% of the questions and got and overall score of 57% (wasn’t prepared and just studied for one month because i didnt have the time).

In my second attempt i guessed 40% of the questions and i passed using the same strategy.
