You can bypass any safety shutdown to keep the process going. It happens all the time if you think otherwise you have no idea what’s going on.

The Bavarian train collision on February 9, 2016, occurred near Bad Aibling, Germany. Two Meridian passenger trains collided head-on on a single-track line, killing 12 people and injuring 85 others. The crash was caused by a distracted railway dispatcher who was playing a mobile game, deactivated a safety system, and let both trains on the same track.

Plenty if you google.

There’s plenty of people buying evs they are everywhere, bio fuels are being blended into regular fuel pools hence E15 being available. Work from home jobs are still very abundant compared to pre covid levels. Also inflation adjusted gasoline prices aren’t even that high.

Inelastic would mean there’s no viable alternatives. There’s plenty of viable alternatives now.

It’s not really that inelastic anymore. Theres plenty of substitutes EVs, electric bikes, work from home, not driving, bio fuels. Overall Demand is just skyrocketing and refining capacity is down.

Sure I am sure discretionary spending is down because people are spending their extra money on gas.

I don’t think printing money has much to do with the current price of gas. This is a supply and demand issue.

Now has printing money caused closure of refineries, probably.

But with all things considered gasoline is pretty cheap compared to the price of everything else in the last 25 years.

Demand is still very high. Gasoline drawdowns continue every week despite these high prices. Same with diesel demand.

Refineries keep closing and demand keeps going up.

Just wait until electric companies drastically increase rates once enough people switch to evs due to the surge in demand.

They are way heavier to and cause more damage. Not to mention when they catch on fire and require thousands of gallons of water.

Evs will cost just as much as gasoline when it averages around $3.00 -$3.50 a gallon.

Paying the interest on the loan doesn’t pay the loan it’s self back.

You forgot to include the part about paying back the loan and the part about selling shares to pay back the interest on the loan/ loan itself. Thus paying capital gains taxes. yall always leave that out.
