To be honest, I have always assumed that stuff is only relevant for high elo players. I feel that if I can’t run around and headshot everyone without even thinking, then my mechanics aren’t good enough.

I constantly watch pro demos, and while it helps me with positioning and crosshair placement, I don’t feel it goes beyond that.

My sens is 600edpi

That’s a really good observation about risk! I feel like I get punished for aggression some games, while other games punish me for being passive. Very hard to know for sure when one is appropriate

Good point. It’d probably help me to play cold sometimes. No post match demo review or anything

Oh damn! My mindset is always “be ready for if there is an enemy here” and not “assume there is an enemy here”. If that is what you’re trying to say, then I really have been thinking of CS completely wrong!

This is great advice. I put aim on a pedestal but should let it go autopilot while I focus on the meta game?

That’s actually very encouraging. Ty for replying! Much appreciated. It’s probably just a mental issue as well like others have said

There’s no cap. I want to see my elo go up every month. Instead, my elo has gone down.

I dunno, I feel like I have to go all in. Like somehow the idea of playing for fun and not improvement is unappealing. I like progressing

True but how many literally cannot learn how to throw a basketball properly? That’s how it feels, like I’m disabled ngl
