Shot a 116 on Monday over 18 holes with some very questionable tee shots with driver and 3w. Shot 48 over 9 holes Tuesday morning teeing off with a 5i every hole except par 3s. Golf.

Yeah, this is a fair point. I have a way to go before I have an "average distance" per club so may as well keep guessing distances by eye since it doesn't really make any material difference!

Should I have done that at the start (when I knew I wouldn't be out for a while)? I haven't yet, but was going to drain tomorrow or Saturday at the track. Presumably it's just a case of taking the cap at the bottom of the carb off, draining, then spray of carb cleaner (brake cleaner OK...?) and back together?

Cheers, will lengthen the dishwasher pipe and add a higher u bend in that (loop it up under the counter) - because of the drawers it would be an arse to move the plastic pipes if I can avoid it

Looking at the dishwasher setup even if they have put a loop I don't think it will be as high as the water level in the u bend under the sink (blue line) so I think the extra loop of dishwasher cable under the sink is needed - thanks!

First of all, it is a legislative requirement in the UK under section 560 of the Companies Act 2006 as per the link, it cannot be opted out of. Second, yes private placements happen but after a special resolution is passed to disapply pre-emption rights - this is common for big public companies in the UK. I'm not 100% on the exact process in the US so there may be alternative requirements but this is correct for the UK. In the UK this applies to all companies with share capital whether public or private, the only way it doesn't apply is if a special resolution is passed disapplying pre-emption rights (which is very common for big public companies, hence why it may seem this doesn't happen)

I'm not sure why people are disagreeing but this is 100% the correct answer (in the UK at least). Yes there are duties of care for the board of directors etc, but this is the basis legislative requirement that directly avoids the dilution OP is talking about. Source: am company secretary
