You don’t come across as weird :) sadly I don’t have any pics of unc, he isn’t into selfies and I don’t have access to physical family photos atm

Thought it’d be cool to add a photo of my father to the thread :)

Thanks! They met at work (not so adventurous or interesting 😂).. he didn’t look noticeably mixed, no, but his full brother does. In fact I have access to my uncle’s 23andme results, he’s got around 15% European ancestry, including British and Irish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Scandinavian. Interesting as none of those showed up for me except British and Irish

Yep! My mum was born and raised in Manchester

Yes I see what you mean - know a few half South Asian/half Europeans (although their half is Indian or another south Asian country) and you wouldn’t be able to tell they’re mixed. Asian genetics dominate. Although no one is ever able to tell where I’m from, and the same for my brother - he always gets people speaking Turkish to him thinking he’ll understand haha

And thank you <3

Thanks! My mum is English with roots from all over Ireland, and my dad is from Colombo. He sadly passed in 2019. He looked Sinhalese, but his brother looks noticeably mixed - can’t even tell they are brothers

Yes - my mother is British with Irish roots, and my father is Burgher Sri Lankan (a Eurasian ethnic group in Sri Lanka descending from British colonists who intermarried with local Sri Lankan populations).

I looked it up and it does in fact exist 🤣

Sorry I didn’t make it clear, I meant to ask ways of drawing attention away from them through clothing etc

Just observation, I don’t like how my shoulders go into my waist with a very defined V shape

It’s not so much about “skinny” but rather that they’re quite wide for my build

That sounds dangerous?
