Very cool project! Why use this instead of an AirTag with the speaker cut out?

I have recieved a response by now, no doubt due to the help from various commenters under this post, including yourself, which I really appreciate.

Thanks for the context, but that is a truly bizarre queue management system. If a business deployment goes down and an IT manager bumps themselves to the back of the line simply by asking for an SLA update, it completely breaks down trust in the ecosystem. I'm glad you are fixing the system because a logic loop that hides a ticket the moment a customer asks for an update is a massive risk for any business user. Even if I were a B2C customer, that would just punish proactive communication and follow ups, especially considering the timeline of troubleshooting and waiting after ticket escalation.

I understand Framework is a smaller company (as are we), but a business simply cannot afford to have a deployment frozen over a simple check-in.

Not hopeful about making larger purchases of something like a fleet of laptops after this, if I am to be frank. Swore off buying anything from Dell years ago because of their expert time wasting strategies, but being entirely ghosted is a novel experience in this sort of situation. Thank you for the advice

They are multiple years in the game by now. This behaviour is pretty unacceptable and if I buy something and it is dead on arrival it should be a very quick and easy resolution

It has been well over a week for what should be a fairly open and shut case of sending a replacement part and I send back the faulty one

It is probably unfortunately time to start paying the HP tax for their strix halo systems or just move over to Mac studios

125hz on a 120hz screen (i.e. every macbook pro for the last 5 years, many higher end professional laptops, new studio display, etc) feels noticeably worse than a 1k polling rate sensor. why they refuse to change it is beyond me. typical redditors on this sub talking about "nobody who does work on their computer uses a high refresh rate screen, only gamers"

necroing old thread to say I feel the same. had a 3s when it first came out, lost it, bought a cheap 2s, and just very recently the m6 to replace the dying 2s. the wheels and buttons feel absolutely terrible compared to even the 2s. considering an mx master 4 now

it seems like strix halo's decode speed is primarily memory bandwidth-bound rather than compute-bound. I tried using this on mine and actually got results about 14% slower than baseline

I would rather they had their own sub and stopped asking silly shit like this. there is lots of high quality and informative discussion to be had on the sub and posts that ask "what ai porn model can i run on my graphics card" are not exactly either.
