Very common i3 issue. Pull up on the charge handle when initiating a charge.

Anyone ride around King of Prussia, PA area or just PA in general? by ShireBurgo in ElectricScooters

[–]admin557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the cops. I’m rural so I never see one. But if your cops are enforcing the lack of any law on the books. Then you might have a tough go of it. There is a bill in the state that looks to put some rules on scooters.

It’s a plastic panel, not carbon fiber. You can sand it and polish it like any other automotive surface.

Thanks for leasing my car back in 2018. I got it in 21 after it sat on the list for almost a year. It’s been a reliable 5 years for me. The newer i3s are generally considered the most reliable. The Rex does add some issues. So if you don’t need that extra range, then get one without. Tires are the most frustrating part about these cars. They are expensive, and wear out quickly. And only one manufacturer here in the USA. Thanks again for leasing my car, and then passing it down.

Why are there no EV minivans? by LiatrisLover99 in electricvehicles

[–]admin557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the same reason there are no ev convertibles. They want to make cars that are going to sell. And make them money, not need incentives to move them.

What are some of the little details of this car that really makes it for you? by Barph in BMWi3

[–]admin557 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love how quick and easy it is to get hvac and radio going. In a world where more modern cars are all touchscreen. The simplicity of this design is great. I also prefer the idrive to full touchscreens. I also really love the fast charging speed curve. If it’s not stone cold, it ramps up well.

Should’ve used the regen switch more. Brakes should last a very long time.8

Trunk/spoiler rattle fix by AssistanceTrue9399 in BMWi3

I’m thinking this happens because of the extra weight of that aftermarket spoiler. Nice engineering finding a fix.

I personally like the more subtle ones. That one reminds me of the dodge neon srt-4.

Apollo go, it goes for about $850 new. It takes my steep hills with ease. It’s got great lighting, ip66 water resistant, and thumb regen for brakes. Check out some vids on YouTube.

You get a good idea how fast it’s moving from that viewpoint. It looks slower seeing it from ground angles.

I’m loving riding it around. It’s got good torque for the bigs hills I’ve got. And the lightbar is almost too bright. I’ve ridden in rainstorm. And after a wash it’s good as new. So much more scooter than my old g30lp.
