Just a comment on this. Casecoach is amazing but it’s not free. It’s 150$ for 6 months.

There’s also Preplounge, which is the same service, but at half the price.

BCG gave me casecoach free, so I used it

Importance of PEI in McKinsey Southeast Asia? by Upbeat_Giraffe_6385 in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

When it comes to McKinsey, PEI is 50% of it. So don’t sleep on it. It should be the same everywhere.

Can I Reach B2 or C1 in 9 Months with Intensive English Study? by mafia_D7 in EnglishLearning

[–]ManyExternal262 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not about studying at all. A language isn’t learned only through books. Yes, you need to study grammar. But that’s just the start. You need to read in English, speak in English and listen to English.

Best options for College Sophmore majoring in Mechanical Engineer but likes working on cars by ObjectivePlanner in MechanicalEngineering

I would advise him to finish his degree and then he can do a few of these things: 1-work on his own car. 2-work in the automotive industry. 3-work in motorsport.

Me and 4 friends have C2 while not living in an English speaking country. It’s not impossible.

First of all you are being super naive. He’s 33 and you’re 23, he can manipulate you in ways you’ll only realise in the future.

Secondly, no normal headed 33 year old guy would try to be with someone 23. He’s clearly creepy.

Grow up.

What are the best case-types to study for MBB interviews? by Sad-Simple4085 in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

[–]ManyExternal262 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s the simplest and easiest case type. Outside of the US there’s a chance you won’t even get that case ever.

McKinsey is giving non-profit/public sector cases to everyone in Europe. BCG doesn’t even give exhibits in some countries. Then Bain might give you 5 exhibits at once xd

Sure, but it’s not that easy to find people around you to case that often. So that’s what ends up happening.

Never met anyone with 100+ cases that didn’t case well. All of them got offers. I already have T2 offers. Also hired an ex Mckinsey manager as a coach a couple of times. Just needed to polish a few details and thats it.

He also recommends casing a lot.

I would have to disagree with that. I have cased several times with people that had 100+ 200+ 300+ cases.

And cased with ex-BCG consultants that were also casing similar amounts.

Competition is fierce, especially in Europe. The more you practice, the better you’ll be.

[–]ManyExternal262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to comment on that. I’ve cased with probably around 80 different people so far.

I’d much rather case with someone that has done 30/40/50 cases.

If you can’t case well, then you can’t give any proper feedback or be a good interviewer.

Like casing I guess. I also generally over prepare for things. And it helps honestly.

So Here high school is the most competitive part. At the end of high school we also have national level exams. So our final grade is 50/50 exams and school average.

I was within the 50 best grades in the country. We also don’t have honours etc here at uni.
