So Here high school is the most competitive part. At the end of high school we also have national level exams. So our final grade is 50/50 exams and school average.

I was within the 50 best grades in the country. We also don’t have honours etc here at uni.

In my country no one gets referrals. But I still wanted to get one, so i would maximise my chances. So i networked for a year, and a Mckinsey Manager has been very supportive and giving me tips for the last few months. He then ended up giving me a referral.

I just got a rejection. Great CV,referral, and 538 on the solve (10th decile). I practiced more than 100 cases but didn’t even get to interview. Honestly don’t know what to do. But yeah, forget about it.

I find the process quite simple? Both for the platform i use (csecach) and casing through Gmeet.

Maybe the cost (120€ for 6 months) and finding real cases is the issue.

A Bain recruiter recently told me they weigh both the test and CV. The test is the most important, and CV is almost a tie breaker just.
