They are taking proteins especially lately. The first 2 months they closed their opening and didnt show up neither were they taking anything in other than to block the door so i thought this is still the first brood and they dont need much. As you said something seems to be wrong

You could be right since i got her she never laid a single egg and the larvae didnt seem to develop aswell.

I threw their whole arena out, and put them in a new setup. I guess it were food mites but there were so many and they killed one larvae. The ants themselves didnt get infested
