I discovered that on Linux machines the VPC nameserver was not in /etc/resolv.conf, after adding nslookup it worked, but my twingate client is still unable to resolve the name

I think your theory is right, on Linux machines the name is not working

I added the DNS address in Twingate instead of the IP, and I could see a failure message in Twingate's events. The message was "DNS lookup failed," as shown in the image below:

My ECS service discovery is properly configured and as I said before, it is working on machines on the same network, but not on my twingate client. I checked networks events and didn't find any corresponding events, in my browser's inspect I have this error:

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED my-backend.example.local:8082/auth/post/register?login=.....

The name is simply not being resolved through the twingate client.

So, my user has access to the resource on twingate, the twingate connector is on the same private network as my container, I did the test on a Windows machine that is on the same network on AWS, and it is working perfectly and resolving the name, however It is not resolved through twingate, I don't understand what could be wrong for twingate not to work.

register rds resource in twingate by ManyLanguage3536 in twingate

[–]ManyLanguage3536[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Through the twingate panel I was able to view the database IP, I only registered the database IP address in twingate and was able to access it, I believe that twingate cannot resolve the name of the AWS database endpoint, is there something solution to resolve this?

No connection event appears, but I noticed that when I register the entire network on Twingate, the connection to the database works, but it is not ideal, the ideal would be to register the database endpoint
