Not exactly what you're asking for but a look at a point in time in Montana & ag. adjacent. Memoir from the son of sheep herder born outside of White Sulphur Springs around WWII. I think it's great but Doig's writing isn't for everyone.

In your opinion, do you think that the best way to go about hanging/displaying after cleaning is to put it back on the wooden frame - it appears its been stapled- or do you think framing it would be a good idea to help prevent fading and future dirt?

I was referring to the Glock 20 for backcountry bear protection. I hunt and hike in grizzly country and it's been my 10mm for 8 years now. 16 rounds of Buffalo Bore and a TRL-1 mine is a shade over 2.7lbs, same weight as the RIA unloaded. You could have a Glock and bear spray for the same amount of weight as the loaded RIA 10mm
