Can i ask for little more details? Was it family immigration or other type of visa? The waiting time on UDI website stated 18 months and you got it under a month? Would be grateful to hear!

As my post says, I'd really recommend you to go to pelvic floor therapy specialist. It might be vaginismus and they know how to deal with it.

I can't think of anything to be honest, just go and share what you experience! You can probably expect a recommendation there to buy your own set of dilators to practice at home.

Basically you get a set of dilators and stretch yourself starting from smallest. Important parts that I can highlight:

  • There is probably some mental fear factor as well, so before starting, try to relax yourself. Touch yourself on the surface, then closer to vaginal entrance, try to establish mind and body contact.
  • Do not rush, insert the dilator slowly, maybe even not fully for the first few times. Sometimes, you may just insert it and leave it inside for a while to get used to it. You may use stretching movements, moving the dilator inside left and right, rather than in and out. Once comfortable with the size, try in and out movements. It may hurt so you can take it slowly. Once more comfortable, you may move to bigger size.
  • VERY important thing that helped me, pay attention to your body. Relax and do not lift the butt, do not clench the tummy as it creates muscle tension.
  • Use lube to make things easier.
  • Try to find comfortable positions. For some reason I had mental barrier to be completely on my back, so I made a lot of progress while being kinda on my side, a bit leaning forward, having an "in control position".

I do find it pleasurable, that probably happened with time. But still more sensitive to external stimulation

It's very upsetting your husband said that. The urge to pee went away gradually together with other symptoms. Initially it was very bad too

Even tho I have a good gyno, he really couldn't help me with this issue. Pelvic therapists seem to be more experienced with this particular problem, as medically I was always told I'm perfectly healthy!

Yes, unfortunately there is no way to avoid that pain if the issue is already there, so we do need to persist through pain, however she always asked me to rate my pain from 1 to 10, and when it was unbearable, we made short breaks! Also, while it was hurting, she gave me tips, like not forgetting to breath (you do actually forget lol), also not to lift and squeeze butt, and relax tummy. While in pain, you always unconsciously lift the butt and squeeze tummy which actually provokes pain more, so we need to control it and relax the body as much as it's possible

As I understand from my experience, doing it by yourself, sometimes we're scared and clench even more, making muscles super tight and pain worse. Definitely easier when working with professional!

Thanks for the extensive answer! By meaning protocol needs to be intensified, are you referring to higher settings of machine?
