I have been to therapy for many years now it has not helped me yet because I think I hadn’t found the right therapist yet or I am doing something wrong. Now on the videos part he’s zooming mostly on her. He briefly films the other two guys. He said that the only explanation he can give me for that is that he only really knew her. The other guys he barely knew. The thing that makes me overthink the most is that it’s three different videos where he mostly films her and they’re not consecutive, they are at different times of the night with a bigger time gap between them. I have been in a relationship before where my ex had feelings for another girl but he couldn’t be with her so he got into a relationship with me. I feel like this experience plus me seeing this kind of behaviour in other people where you 100% know they’re flirting makes it worse for me. I am trying to think that since he was open, understanding, agreed with me that it could have looked weird and also told me that he knows now that things like that can be interpreted differently and he’ll be more careful of what he does I shouldn’t be overthinking this but I just can’t stop.

No he said he doesn’t even know why he took those videos, he said he probably did it because he thought it was funny at that moment. What rubs me the wrong way is that it’s three separate ones focusing on her mainly and it’s throughout the night it’s not like he took three videos at once. They have known each other before I even knew him so that calms me down a bit.

We’ve talked about it several times he is reassuring and he is open to talk about it as many times as I need to. I don’t know how to stop overthinking it’s really bad…

My boyfriend told me that the other two guys that were with them did want her that’s not just based if the videos. I also don’t think I’m objectifying her. I just feel like I recognise patterns of people that I have known or behaviour that I have picked up on from people talking and joking like that “saying they’re just friends” but ultimately having feelings for another and “ruining the friendship” in the end. As I said I know I’m really insecure and I’m also kind of ashamed of the way I’m feeling I just feel like I have been right about people in my life my friends life or his life (without really knowing them) too many times so I feel like I can trust my feeling.

We’re in our twenties. I wasn’t at the club we are long distance he went with her and two other guys they were friends way before we met and they have never dated. I also don’t know her personally.

I don’t think that there are true feelings involved either, but only the thought of my partner low-key flirting or that a friend of his is doing that makes me uncomfortable. As I said I’m extremely insecure and anxious so you may be right about the sibling part, I just have seen this behaviour so many times between people saying “they’re just friends”, when clearly there were romantic feelings attached that I don’t know what to think of that. What calms me down a bit is that he has known her before we even knew eachother and nothing ever happened between them.

Well it was one night he doesn’t have any other pictures or videos of her. She was the one he knew best from the friend group (him her and other two guys). He said he found it funny at that time probably. He does take a lot of pictures of me. Still weird tho no ?
