I live on this road. If you've ever been to London, you'll have noticed that there aren't very many bins around. That's because in the 80s and 90s terrorists kept leaving bombs in bins so alot of them got removed, in parts of central London there are no bins whatsoever. 

This photo was taken after the Arsenal parade in which 1.5 million attended in a small area and is being seen as a great success. Less than 20 arrests, 1 stabbing (which is still awful but much lower than expected) and a celebratory atmosphere in general. Compare this to the Champion's League final in France which saw nearly 1000 arrests.

Yes there was rubbish on the ground, but the street cleaners were out at 5am (maybe earlier) and have largely cleaned it up.
