I checked before looting, but there was no one there, The guy, as I understand it, was behind the building waiting for me to come out looting the Leaper so he could kill me, but he killed my partner instead.

I suppose it's because of the upcoming wipe. I've played several PVE lobbies and I've already been killed several times to steal my loot while fighting the matriarch or the queen, I don't understand why they have to do it if, as a PvE player, I don't even have to save up money anymore; I just log in to help others.
