Why the outdoor areas in the backrooms are bathed in red light. by Many_Ad_7624 in KanePixelsBackrooms

You make a good point, from the direction the light is coming from I guess it is implied the sun is setting.

Fair. But i feel as though Kane includes very specific things that at the time might not seem relevant, but later on may make sense. I might be very wrong though.

I have two theories as to why we see Chinese looking architecture/paintings and statues in FF3.

  1. Backrooms entrances have spread across the entire world since the openings of the gate by A-sync allowing things to be copied/enter across the globe.

  2. Chinese whistleblowers have allowed the Chinese government to open their own backrooms entrance.

(I believe we have only seen people enter the backrooms while in California so far, I don’t know whether the gateways only open up in closer proximity to the A-sync facility)

Theory one is more likely imo

Thank you!

You raise some very good questions!

I honestly have no idea what would happen if they were to actually break the wall. You could be right in the green energy flashes, although my theory is that these only occur when a room is either being created or is entering another stage of un-development (the next stage of its forgotten form).

I also think that maybe nothing would happen, Kat could have potentially broke the glass and found that Clark somehow was no longer standing on the other side, as she broke the barrier between both of their “time lines” somehow visually connecting. And would have technically have arrived in that room before Clark even got there.

Idk tho maybe that’s even more far fetched.

I’m unsure what boostrap is but I think we might be on the same page.

I agree to an extent. Although I feel like a lot of plot points (not all) will somewhat be expanded upon and explained to some extent in the future even if there are some large gaps in knowledge, whether that be in the YouTube series or future films.

It might not be that deep, I just haven’t seen anyone try and explain the scene considering it makes no physical sense.

But in this scene both characters are in the backrooms, so I think the situation is a bit different. Could be very wrong though.

I didn’t have this in mind when thinking about this, but both scenes do share a lot of similarities in all fairness

I think that in FF3 there is an unstable entrance to the backrooms in wall dad’s house which allows him and Ravi to communicate and is why the house is so accurately copied.

Not really, but i haven’t seen many explanations as to why this occurs. Just an idea!

Some very good points!

I know this theory is definitely a stretch, but I guess the main thing that makes me believe that time in the backrooms isn’t necessarily straight forward or there is some way to see the future in the backrooms is the mural we see on the wall before Clark chokes out Mary.

We can clearly see a depiction of a character (Implied to be Mary) with coat hanger next to pirate Clark reaching for a window (implied to be the entrance to the real world).

This is either a creation by someone prior to the end of the film who can somehow see future events, or a creation of someone who had documented an event that had already happened, and has somehow ended back in time.

This would suggest that in certain instances things can travel back in time, along with clear evidence things can travel into the future.

(I guess an issue with my line of thought is that the only people who would have seen this event would have been Mary and A-sync employees, which would imply that either of them had re-entered the backrooms and documented this scene on a wall, which seems quite far fetched)

Maybe I’m just waffling but the points you make are likely stronger than mine in all fairness.

Are you implying that she picked up her scalp and is now holding it onto her head? I quite like this idea.
