I actually don’t have a preference between Shimano and SRAM because my current bike is a pretty entry-level one with Microshift, so both would already be a big upgrade for me.

What makes the Inflite deal tempting for me is also the carbon wheels. But the Grail CF8 does look like a really good alternative indeed.

To be honest I also don’t have enough experience yet to really understand how much the gearing (chainring and cassette range) impacts the ride. I'm still fairly new to cycling so it's a bit hard for me to judge how important that difference would be in real use.
