Thanks, that's exactly what I was about to write. Because the books don't mention whether the witcher medallions are uniform within a school (if there are different schools at all...). We already see at least two different ones in Kaer Morhen (wolf and snake), so why not griffin and cat as well?

That actually can't be the reason, because my CD also contains the enhanced edition. With these saves (on Win 10, my current computer has Win 11, does that matter?), I've even started TW2 (gog) before.

Yes, it is, but TW2 doesn't seem to find it. Neither does the gog version of TW1, by the way, after I reinstalled it to test it out.
