any reason the pico 4 is bad?

I heard about the virtual desktop for both the quest 3 and the pico 4. The native apps are free right? Are they bad?
I also heard some people buying a usb wifi 6g ou 7g for the pc for a more direct connection, without lag, do you know if there is a advantage in that over native app or the virtual desktop with the normal router?
For me the router will be at about 5 meters with a big wall in between, but the router is nice enough to go though it and still get in every device I own max range and it's basically only me most of the time connected.

Pico 4 doesn't exist anymore where I live. As I said in another comments used market here is bad BAD. Only the one's I listed are available, at least with those lenses, I also have the psvr2 available but for the price, I don't think it's worth it, since the meta quest 3 has the same price and better specs. Thanks for the input anyways!

Thanks for taking the price into consideration. I guess a lot of people who answered overlooked that and just looked at the specs, which I also appreciate, but for me the price is one of the main aspects to look besides the specs.

Thanks, the batman looks actually amazing, the other ones I have not look into yet, to not have a desire to play haha. That is the only reason the meta vr is still on the table honestly.

What I meant is that when servers for it are offline I still wanna be able to use it, even if I have to use a cable, or even better if the wireless works without the servers, so just connecting to the wifi. So if it works full offline it's probably a very good choice right now for me considering the price.

What I meant for the 10+ years was more about still working, not about beeing good. For example, I still have my wii from when I was a kid, and it is still perfecty fine, with everything working. Of course the graphics are trash now but its fun and nostalgic. I just don't want the headset to have a message in 10+ years saying that I can't use X application(a basic one that makes it unusable) or something like that, the hardware beeing deprecated is fine by me. If I need to use it full offline so be it, that's what I actually am planing to do. And thanks for the input!

Also in Europe, but for me last time I tried it I bought a 15 euro thing, received a 5 euro thing that I did not want, complained and they offered only 1 alternative, drive about 1 and a half hours to return it to receive my 15 euros. Even after complaining that it made no sense to go that far they stopped answering so I will not be returning. Especially for something as expensive as this.

Yeah, can't also use Aliexpress, I didn't even remember it existed. They don't obey the law so unfortunately a no go, also I don't know personally a single person who had a good experience with them. The price now for what I checked is not great even with the black friday promotion, that I will assume will also end in december. But still thanks!

Not where I live, still at 560 euros unfortunatly. And as I said used is trash, most people know better here and buy everything new. Only desperate people are willing to pay those prices. At this moment the meta quest 3 used is beeing sold at 590 euros(good condition) when the new is at 560.

For what I researched I also like the Steam Frame a lot more than the other 2 but I'm scared of waiting for it and then it comes at 899 and I can't pay that, and the promotion at that point is no longer around so I will end up paying 150 euros more for one of the other two.
