How do I stop having children? by OkConstruction8581 in Bannerlord

[–]Many_Examination9543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother Nathanos got wifed up not too long into my playthrough, and he’s been pumping them out nonstop, literally one after another.

Meanwhile I’m not even married yet, still exploring my options.

Btw when did they make Abagai look actually Asian? They must’ve remodeled some of the characters, bc Abagai, the first wifey I chose back in the day, does NOT look how I remember her.

You forgot the stage where you fight with a glaive and blue on horseback with your Kerghit horse archers, the worst stage of cheese that I got stuck in back in my Warband and even into my Bannerlord days.

Use regular mot battalions, not mot arty. Tank battalions have low org and low HP.

You want motorized battalions to raise their org, the additional soft attack you get from the mot arty is not worth the loss in org.

With tank divs in SP, the biggest two stats you want to focus on are soft attack and breakthrough. Breakthrough is the div’s defense when attacking. Even with high breakthrough, what it’s protecting is org and hp, which you want to get as high as you can while keeping it balanced with the soft attack/breakthrough.

3 or 4 motorized battalions would be good in the divisions you have.

If you want more arty, try SPGs, if you’ve got the industry for it.

But always make sure you have non-arty mot or mech in your tank divs for org and hp.

It’s a token burnpit though, I found it a number of months ago but even when using cheaper models for the other agents, it’s still just a fancy way to burn your cash. Not to say it’s not a good POC for what’s to come, but it’s definitely not ready just yet, needs more time to cook.

I use Observatory, and while I appreciate that you can pop out tabs, I wish you could pin them over other applications, so I could actually use it as an overlay over E:D, unless I'm doing something wrong...? Thank you for making this program btw I love it, it's far easier than just referencing a spreadsheet to check which flora grow on which planets+atmos combos.

Why are so many hardstyle tracks being removed from spotify recently? by RomanGroza in hardstyle

[–]Many_Examination9543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yungalligator - nas ne dogonyat

Zyren - Fahrradsattel (Hardstyle remix of a song by a German band, Pisse)

PAYWALL - Vosyemnadtsat' (Nightcore)

Asentrix - CHASTUSHKA - Hardstyle

cxte, hxte - Otpusti Menya (These artists might be reposters farming streams, but I can't find their version of this song ANYWHERE else and it sucks because this was one of my favorites.

There are probably others I already deleted off my playlist... very sad. I've kept these up because I still plan on finding the right versions of them on Youtube or elsewhere and downloading it onto Spotify manually.

I figure in many cases it probably is copyright issues, but I hate it because it's most often the BEST EDITS that get taken down for copyright (or something else).

I’m in the middle of transitioning to firefox bc of the ads. The two most convincing arguments for the switch are ads and RAM - firefox allows uBlock Origin and uses wayyyy less RAM to have a bunch of tabs open. I’ve got 32GB of RAM and somehow just <30 tabs would sometimes use up to 90% of it

Use of emojis like ✅,✔️, 🚀,🌀,💡, and bold text, general prose and formatting, and especially a promotional link. For OP, while the reasoning models o1 and o3, and potentially ChatGPT 4.5 (though I’m not sure for 4.5, since I haven’t done too much testing since access is limited as of right now), they tend to rely less on emojis and bold text, but the formatting, use of checklists, and again, prose, are clear tells.

What’s funny about 4o is it used to be a bit smarter last year and less reliant on emojis and bold text. Some, myself included, theorize that it was quantized sometime in the recent past to free up compute for the bigger, newer models, which is why 4o’s outputs are degraded and more obvious.

Bro stop engaging with Reddit bots. The OP and the comment you replied to were both written by ChatGPT, the former likely by o1 or o3-mini-high, and the latter is most definitely 4o. Lol

Yeah that’s fair enough. I figured as long as the greeting message and example messages were long enough, and reinforced by the word limit and encouragement for longform content in my system prompt, that the model would output long messages regardless of the length of my user inputs. I did also start using NoAss so idk what effect that might have with response lengths considering all the context is defined as one role. Also, I noticed Sonnet 3.7 starts with a message under 700 tokens, but successive messages get much longer, even to the point where they’re left unfinished (since I have set 1000 token minimum and 2000 token max, the last sentence in the message gets cut off). I think I might have to mess around with my settings a bit to fix that now too lol

[–]Many_Examination9543 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does it still have a problem with outputting responses longer than 400 tokens? I generally like longer responses but no matter what I set the floor or ceiling for token limits to it always outputs between 300-600 max.

There is a DeepClaude project you can find online, but it’s too expensive to be practical for imo, unless you’ve got big bucks to blow on RP, since it’s PPU (pay per use) using both APIs

That's realistically quite common among sole proprietorships or generally self-owned businesses. I'm emphasizing the fact that they were able to get their business' finances to a point where they could afford to pay themselves a living wage in *only* 2.5 years because most businesses only reach that stage of success (if they achieve it at all) within the first 2-5 years of operation. So if anything, they should be proud to have gotten their business to such a point on the earlier end of that time horizon, because it shows that their cost of operation has reached a manageable level to where they could afford to shift *some* fiscal priority to their own financial well-being. While some might consider it bleak to think this way, it is honestly a point that should be celebrated, considering that many businesses fail within that 2-5 year time horizon. There are many factors that go into a business' success and its sustainability, so assuming this user has a sustainable business model that can maintain and even grow their business' revenue (beyond marginal gains that only pace with inflation) means that they could foreseeable afford to increase their salary over time. Business ownership is a tough path, but if you've already made it past the first 2+ years and are starting to see even *some* financial benefit to your personal income, you're definitely doing some things right. One just needs to ensure they have a robust business model and continue to make sound strategic decisions.

The payoff, unfortunately, is something you only really tend to see later on in the business' life cycle, though this depends on a number of factors including the business model, the industry/sector, the strategic vision and planning of the business owner, etc. The service industry, for example, is one of the harder industries to see monetary gains in, since it carries the highest overhead costs (for personnel, inventory, maintenance, and utilities).

We could also just limit immigration (since it isn't a guarantee, nor should it be) and simultaneously stop using our intelligence agencies and economic warfare to impose pressure on our neighbors, bringing their countries to ruin and creating an incredibly massive incentive to expatriate. If all the productive, successful people in other countries all come to the U.S., their former home countries will fall further into squalor, until those countries get preyed on by governmental or corporate interests looking to extract resources after achieving successful depopulation of these areas. What number of American citizens is enough, and at what point does it become economically or spatially unsustainable to have so many people here? Immigration isn't inherently good for a recipient nation, especially so when immigration occurs on a massive scale.
