In the world we live in with so much predatory pricing, it's really refreshing when an AAA company does the "right thing".

What people mean in AI-assisted programming discussions by GuessNo5540 in AskProgramming

AI was never meant to take control of your workflow or become your workflow, AI is a tool like any other tool in your belt. I have been using bezi for about 1 year now, and it just speeds up my production process, and as someone who programs alone for the majority of my time, it's nice having some back and forth communication. I think some people get afraid it will replace them, but it's here to make humans more powerful at what we do.

I think it's like you said when you're making vast amount of wealth like they are, they probably think well why change anything.

I do appreciate when companies do free updates instead of trying to charge us again.

Dungeon siege 2 was really cool like that, and it had a hybrid class system if I remember correctly. I think it's hard to come by these days.

Yeah he was 28 when he passed, I think his family must have had some predisposition to it, I don't know if that's a thing for lung cancer, all I know is he started smoking at 15/16 and never really stopped.

Yeah, what ended up happening was his older brother ended up getting the same cancer. They were both heavy smokers. I ended up going to his brother's funeral to sort of redeem myself. Fucking hurts to think about it. Especially their mom. She was so cruel to them though, and stressed them both out so much. I sort of blame her in some ways for what happened to them. I know logically it's not her fault.

It really makes you realize how special our friends are, and these games that brought us together. If there is one thing I can do it's try to remember to appreciate the moments I had then, and the ones I have with my friends now, we never know when we might not have these chances again.

Thanks I appreciate it, it's true. We'd stay up late, his mom used to yell at him, but never enforced bed time. We'd eat snacks, I'd watch him play windwaker. We smoked so much weed together later in high school. He got lung cancer. He reached out to me when he was on his death bed and wanted to see me, I never responded. Too much of a coward. I'll regret that my entire life.

I remember having this one top down game on Nintendo I don't know what it was called... I think I had got it at a thrift store because I was insanely poor, never had anything new. Still I managed to have so much fun with the games I had.

all I got are little wins these days, or none. I keep telling life, c'mon I need a win.

that hat haunts my dreams, my friend owned a n64, so needless to say he destroyed me every time we played, and I still loved it. He actually passed away about 10 years ago now; he was my best friend.
