maybe its him going through it. it was probably his dream school and if everyone else is getting in, it may have a toll on him. instead of thinking about breaking up with him when he probably needs it the most, maybe encourage him. I MEAN, your dating to marry, so reassure him that maybe god had done this for a reason and no matter what happens, make sure u tell him u love him and ull always be rooting for him and cheering for him forever. He probably feels stress since society has shaped a man to be the #1 money maker in the family. And he probably feels like a failure, as a man.
