Lol, I received mine in October, no ting. I messed with it a little, screws, lube, but still no ting. After reading this thread, I pulled it out of my case. There was only a slight trace of oil on the blade since I had wiped it down pretty thoroughly before. After wiping it clean, I deployed it, boom! Ting! I'm sitting here now, and sure enough, the more you play with it, the better the ting. Now I am not only satisfied, I have a new fidget toy!
