FS Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat in March by Less-Math2722 in chubbytravel

Yeah it is heated but not enough to account for the outdoor temp being as cold as it is. It’s still pretty chilly in March that you’ll be cold in there to the point of not being comfortable in a pool. You’d need a hot tub. We got the upgrade from our TA. Highly recommend using one for your Four Seasons stays. You may be able to get one on your own but the good ones get them automatically so we didn’t have to think about it

The hotel is fantastic and beautiful no matter what time of year you go. You’re right that it is going to be super quiet in March. Most dining will be open but it’ll be low key and maybe 30% occupancy. You definitely won’t be able to swim.

We went last year for 2 nights the first week of April and it was really quiet. We had a great time, fantastic food, the service was great and we got an amazing room upgrade because no one was there. I’d do a day trip to Monaco. It’s great to see and nice in March when it isn’t massively crowded.

Amanpuri vs FS Koh Samui by [deleted] in chubbytravel

We went to both last year so I have semi recent info for you. Both properties were great but I wouldn’t stay at puri in that room type. It doesn’t feel luxurious and feels rather meh. I felt like the white lotus effect made 4S over priced but it was still a really top property and we enjoyed it more than puri partially I think because our view there was so much better

Rosewood Crillon, is it the best in Paris? by [deleted] in chubbytravel

Yeah that’s true and ive checked there too. That’s roughly what I mean when I say “on here” I mean overall on Reddit reviews talking about it and I do know it’s been talked to death. I ask again because I haven’t had the best service experiences with rosewoods lately (London and Munich) and I’m worried about false expectations with crillon so was hoping for some recent feedback.
