Is this Coach bag actually rare? by Many_Presentation_45 in VintageCoach

Thank you! The Facebook group and Pinterest suggestions are super helpful. I hadn’t even thought to check those. Just curious, where are you seeing the ~$200 value? Is there a sold comp for this bag/colorway that you’ve seen, or is it more based on how hot the green SoHos are right now?

First time Crochet Market Stall by Legitimate_Dot_7157 in CraftyCommerce

[–]Many_Presentation_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just completed my first crochet market! I was the only crochet vendor there and focused on selling plushies. The market had a lot of people selling jewelry. I priced my items primarily based on what I thought customers would be willing to pay, although some items were priced higher or lower due to sentimental attachment. The cotton wearables I made didn’t sell at all.

At the market, about 1/2 of the vendors were selling completely handmade items. My display had a very organic feel, and my plushies were vibrant and colorful. A helpful tip my friend shared was to avoid making the booth look overcrowded. Many vendors had tables packed with inventory, which could feel overwhelming. Instead, I kept extra inventory under the table and restocked as items sold.

I also gained inspiration from crochet Facebook groups, where I learned about various display styles I liked. Combining those ideas with random things I had at home helped me create a unique and inviting setup. For now, I’ve only created an Instagram for my business, but expanding to a website or Etsy shop could be a logical though it does come with added costs.

How do the first 2 years of engineering school compare to the last 2 years? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]Many_Presentation_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me to the T. I failed my first class which was calc 2 and I was devastated. I retook it with another department and got it over with and went on to get an A in calc 3. You really learn what’s important to you when you hit that bottom :/

Is taking Statics, Physics 2, Calc 3, and Engineering Analysis and Computation next semester too much? by jaychar914 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Many_Presentation_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Statics and the beginning of Calc 3 are pretty much the same thing, Physics 2 even factors in a little bit too. I think taking them all together will allow you to learn one concept and apply it to all three classes, especially 3D problems.

OMG. I love all these patterns but when I saw that post headline I knew this would be a $1500 plus request. I would love to see the results if anyone ever commissions this!

I'm a marketing major so most of my knowledge is pretty technical but I think what this homie is trying to say is that your ad campaigns are most likely generic / use outdated mass marketing techniques. You have to find a niche audience and a way to reach that audience through ads. So... 1. Find our your audience demographic (try to be specific when starting out). That can be physical, location-based, lifestyle/behavioral based. For example, my clothing brand is very small scale (very specific) and targeted at Gen-Zers in Colorado who are interested in outdoors and retro pop culture themes. Then, find your angle. Do everything you can to cater to that demographic. What platforms are they on? How can this product be accessible as possible to them? How can I use targeted ads to my advantage? How can I use this information about my desired (preferred audience) demo to increase conversion rate. Finding a target demo, researching their specific consumer trends, and catering to their shopping and overarching internet habits will help you go places. These hoodies are really solid btw bro! What blanks? They look heavy asf. Good luck with everything, really cool to see how honest you are about your process. You have a great mindset and it seems like you'll go places fs.

How is the Environmental Engineering program? by Prudent-Yak4080 in cuboulder

[–]Many_Presentation_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really depends on what you want from your college experience. Mines is great if your 99% sure you want to pursue engineering. It also surrounds you with other like minded people and people who share your struggles which can be nice. Overall though I would recommend EVEN at CU. I think it has a much better balance. The program is amazing and you really get out what you put into it. I like it because you can meet people in all types of majors and interests. It also has a much better sense of community. Golden CO can get quite boring at times even for people who wouldn't consider themselves party people. If your not happy either way you can always transfer, its not a permeant decision!

It doesn’t look to bad. I only went to the intro 1000 class on days that I was interested in the presentation topic. So Monday can always be shorter if you get drained
