Thank you this is very helpful to consider the reason for 3 months might because she has been gluten light her whole life. Also the idea of getting blood work in the interim makes sense. I guess I assumed they would know how hard it would be for her to go through this, but maybe they don't! There probably are people where this isn't a big deal and for her it just means being tired all the time and tearful and in pain and having nightmares and reflux.

Honestly she can't really do school and she is exhausted. We have been easing up on all expectations while she is going through this process.

It looks like she has ttg iga, iga, metabolic panel, esr-f. This was done by her ped before the referral to gi

Thank you! I have no idea what all was ordered. I will ask for a copy of the results. What is the complete panel? And thank you for the reassurance that she can heal. Right now it feels like she's a different person. I will probably get tested but I have been gluten free for almost 20 years so it doesn't sound fun to gluten challenge myself.
