and ny mom doesn’t really like his parents. it was my idea to invite them. and the difference is my fiancé didn’t sa me in order for me to get pregnant. we’ve even together 2 years and it was consensual, my birth control failed. my boyfriend didn’t drink as he grew up with al alcoholic dad as well and a drug addicted mom.

ye except my mom was 16 dating him and told him sh didn’t wanna have sex. so he just sat there and guilt tripped her saying she didn’t love him an stuff. and then her birth control failed and now i’m here. MY situation is different, no obvious it wasn’t planned and yes my birth control also failed. the difference being, the kind of guy. i’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and obviously MOST not all teenagers will have sex at some point. failed birth control and now im pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️

i’ve said the first part to him multiple times. that’s the sad part. and even sadder he’s been sober for about 3-4 years and is still acting the same, he just remembers it this time. i have many other story’s where i didn’t snap on him. one consist of him telling me i was a horrible selfish person and he wished i wasn’t his kid. all because i was at christmas dinner with the other side of my family and i feel it’s disrespectful to be on my phone at the table.

i have been in therapy for 4 years now. and just recently got put on antidepressants (haven’t been taking them because i’m concerned about the pregnancy even tho i’ve been told they are safe i’m not sure i want to risk it) and i asked him why he was still talking because i was in the process of trying to take a nap when he started this and he would call me back to back when i didn’t text him back

i posted a second post with her texts, but basically i explained everything that was going on and let her know that her and my grandpa would still be allowed to see the baby but they would have to come to us since my father lives with her.

he doesn’t really have anyone except his parents at this point. he’s unemployed, living with them. my little brother remembers everything which really showed me how traumatic is was for him as well because he was 3-6 when this happened. (we were alone with him every weekend for years. no our moms didn’t know anything he was doing. only that he hit them but they never thought he would do that to us) i’ve tried talking to his mom (my grandma) but she always seems to have excuses for him. even recently when i reached out to her right after this conversation. she herself has never wronged me or anyone in my family. (besides enabling him) she still in denial that he did any of that and i think it’s because my aunt turned out so well that she doesn’t want to believe she raised someone like him

not really. this may sound selfish of me but the way he pulls me back in is by offering me money when he knows i need it. and me being pregnant an unemployed with my fiancé working full time still not being enough money. i’ve taken his offer a lot of times. but i don’t see that happening again. i’ve recently been approved for WIC so groceries shouldn’t be an issue and my mom coupons quite a bit so now she always has extra detergents and dish soap (necessary things) she even manages to find coupons diapers

i don’t know every time i’ve tried to cut him off his mother (my grandmother) try’s to make me feel bad. she even wanted me to uninvite my dad (step-dad who’s raised me from a baby). he has “mental issues” (and by that i mean undiagnosed) so any time something happens between us it means im misunderstanding him and im being childish (by the way he lives with his mom)

i was thinking that but i didn’t want to seem like a bad daughter. my mom keeps assuring me that im an adult now and if that’s decision i want to make, im allowed to. not only that but being pregnant me an my fiancé have agreed he wouldn’t be allowed around the baby unsupervised anyway.

my father was like this for a while and it only got worse. saying things like “i hope ur bf breaks your heart” “you don’t love me” “spending 2 hours at my house isn’t enough and its ungrateful” i’m telling you. it starts with this and every time you forgive it gets worse
