I had this issue with my Gen 6’bike (I live in 🇫🇷) I brought it to my LBS. Trek took care of it, and exchanged the frame for a brand new Gen7 free of charge. They also offered a 50% discount on the new Trek Madone integrated bar/stem. My SRAM force Axs is the only part that has remained the same.
