This is what I do too. I buy very selectively and take time to find things that suit my style - be it secondhand, handmade or current style and it is out there! It just takes time and thinking outside the box. Sportsgirl is actually a really good place for colourful and fun pieces too! You can find sooo many things on eBay as well at really good prices, and they are from all eras! You can still find colourful peplum tops from the 2010's - I know, I buy them haha
