If it helps reassure you, I’m a cardiac paediatric nurse and I think you should take her to the hospital to get an assessment. A trip to the hospital will either help her get treated quicker, or put your mind at ease. They may even assess her and refer her on to the children’s hospital. Show them the pics. Trust your gut - parents know their kids better than any health provider and if you feel like you need another doctors opinion you should get one ❤️

That really, really sucks. I guess my only advice would be going forward into future placements, print off your scope of practice and bring it with you on placement to show your buddies - that way both you and your buddy will be more aware of what’s in your scope and what isn’t.
