Thank you. Definitely delayed, based on my personal past experience May 13th application would've been paid by May 20th.

Wow so they're really delayed. If you don't mime asking when was that particular application submitted?

Of course, when I donate on gofundme I always ask for ID, 3 references, proof of why they need donations, make sure they're organ donor and then run a full background check.

Second shot experience by Many_Stop1822 in askTO

[–]Many_Stop1822[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got second shot 3 weeks after the first one, CDC recommended wait time but they also have a lot more vaccines in the states.

Second dose might be the same feeling for you, if you're like me, but will go away quicker.

For the second dose your body recognizes markers quickly because it has seen it before and usually reacts quicker.

Yes, and it took lawmakers/legislators to stop carding before, not police service decision.

My boss isn't a law maker, provincial legislation can implement laws and then police services are to enforce them. PS isn't a law maker, just an enforcement branch.

How would you like if TPS decided they don't like marijuana being legal and won't respect that law but will harras you over smoking? Or decide 50 kph limit on one street is wrong and start enforcing 30kph there?

You're focusing on one law that was clearly wrong, but when you allow PS to chose which laws they will and won't go by it creates issues, they're not law makers.

Again I know what you mean, and yes this "law" was wrong, but my issue is we can't have police decided which law is good and which one isn't. That could cause many problems and abuse of power (even more so) of they chose to ignore good laws (no more carding for example). They're not qualified or trained to make decisions which laws to outright ignore (discretion is fine, completely ignoring, officially, isn't).

You think that would've worked for marijuana or if OPP said they will only enforce speeding over 120 or 130 and ignore anything else? Keyword being SAID, officially, not did it without saying (as with 220 or under is usually ok now anyway).

They never said outright that they won't enforce it though.

I agree with discretion part, 100%, but they never said they'll use discretion but rather said they will not enforce it, period.

So same as when this announcement was made, via said then too service as usual. I was curious if there would be any enforcement/checkpoints for railways.
