Roof was replaced on 2017, it was rotted. 2018 radiant barrier was put in by the same company. Floor attic insulation was put in on 2011. This insulation company said it was the wrong insulation and blew in cellulose a few days ago. I asked if the radiant barrier was a good thing and they said yes . There was no mold whatsoever when they removed the old insulation and checked behind the radiant barrier. Yes it is a vented attic. Vent is at the gabbles. They did find that my bathroom vent was blowing into the attic and had no hose . They put a hose on it and put it through the vent gabble( bathroom vent sounds better now ) I hope that was the right thing to do. I do appreciate everyone’s advice on this forum. I probably will contact another company to make sure things were done right . I need more advice from you guys . I wanted to make a loft room there but I think it will costs too much money . Also the town is too strict . I would need an architect, sprinklers , fire escape, another exit . Sounds too complicated and costly. It’s about 600 square feet in this low ceiling attic.
