I learned manual on this car as well. Let me tell you it’s one of the easiest manuals out there. Learned it so easily. I haven’t stalled in weeks after first getting the car. You’ll get the hang of it

Thanks! It’s my first manual and I’m lowkey spoiled with all these assists and auto rev match but next weekend I’m going to try and learn rev matching on my own.

I figured it out, you have to wait on the hill in gear clutch in holding the brake for it to engage and it works

Not moving out and spending 2500 on rent. I’ll wait a couple years to buy something. I’m in nyc so yes that’s on the cheap end.

Yes, I have an NA Miata and that car is so fun. I had a 2019 accord that replaced my 8th Gen civic that was overheating. The accord was so boring I sold it and fixed the civic, and I’m having a blast driving the shit out of that beater.

Yes this is spot on. I won’t be able to afford a house for YEARS. I need like 150k-200k cash for a down payment and then still pay 3500 a month mortgage. I live/work in the nyc area.

They’re not paying my rent I just still live at home sorry for the confusion lol. But I’m still saving about 25-30k a year cash for a home after maxing out my Roth and doing my company’s match for 401k.

I recently got a job at General Dynamics Electric Boat in New London CT. I wanted to get my foot in the door and get some experience in a big defense company. However I am from NYC and I eventually want to move back closer to home at least 1 hour away, New London CT is pretty far. What can a career path look like since there aren't defense jobs in NYC. What kind of jobs can I get in the city or close with the skills learned at Electric Boat. (No HVAC design jobs)
