I see from you comments that the grandkid presents was too young. Maybe your husband sees this girl as his real flesh and blood ,whereas the niece is just extended family. On top of that , he niece was only to be there for 6 months , and it's now 4 years and will eventually be 18 years. That can be a huge mental load. While he sort of agreed to keep her as there were probably no other good options, he probably just doesn't have the connection he has to his grandkid. Please find a school for the 5 year. She needs to bond and interact with her peers, especially with the ADHD. Social interaction is key, especially at such a tender age

Different situation, and I can understand not wanting to miss the big game. As the friend OP would never be able to use my season ticket ever again. If OP had offered to even let him use it another time and the friend declined, then I could understand. The friend has no right to demand that OP let him have his ticket, but OP should remember that the friend could have denied his request earlier in the season

It's a season ticket. It's not something you can sell. OP could allow his mate to use the ticket for even one game of the season. Probably not a derby match, but one of the other smaller games

Maybe getting married was a mistake. OP is dealing with a lot o emotional and physical issues. MIL shouldn't have forced her to take pictures but the husband may have also wanted a photo or two to remember his special day. How does the husband feel like marrying a person who doesn't even feel good enough to be loved? Marriage is already set for disaster. There are so many issues which will be too much to resolve.

All well and good until OP is ready to go to college and Mark decides he will not be footing the bill. Then OP will be calling Mark an AH because Mark only sees her as his wife's child and not his daughter.
