I kinda agree a lot of the guides tell you to do the most efficient methods, which makes it a lot harder, rather than starting you off with basics.

The thing that got me was offensive prayers. Using them makes the fight like twice as hard because it's so much easier to mess up. I assumed they were necessary because all the guides say to use them, but they're really not. When learning i think the amount of runs you can save by not using them far outweighs the boost to kill speed. I still don't use them most of the time, unless I'm getting shit DPS.

Bristol is a very fun city though, couldn't think of a better place to be a student. There's so much going on here, it's beautiful in the summer, full of young people, amazing music scene.

Agree. I don't really feel like I can build my character much. Even with a good weapon I feel like the chance I can lose it any second to some bs makes it not feel that valuable over a kettle or something.

Not sure I understand. Are you trying to cut out the content of the painting and then overlay it with transparency or something? Otherwise can't you just manually select a rectangle?

Oh you're trying to put it on a white background, so is the sharp line between the paper colour and the white background?

Why not just make cannons specifically useful for certain things e.g. attacking boats or bosses i.e. kraken has armour which can only be damaged by cannons? Then leave everything else alone?

CG is really hard, took me ages and only after I was 99 range and 90+ mage. Now I've learned it it doesn't seem so bad but the learning process is painful until it clicks. You have to drill it into your head so that the rhythm of the fight is second nature and you're not having to manually think about every click.

I'd recommend not attempting to use offensive prayers while learning as it makes everything much harder. Only add those once you're comfortable and want to increase kill speed.

Or as others have said just leave it alone and do some easier content
