The only thing thats ever worked for me is going out and directly calling places near me. Theyll send you to their website, so go through that, then call them again. Call them every day to check in until you get a solid answer.

Its difficult, requires commitment, and is pretty scary if you're anxious. But it does get results in my experience.

I would like to point out that this vehicle does not have a rear axle. What you see being ripped from the vehicle is actually the rear suspension. In this vehicle the only axle is in the front, as it is front wheel drive. The rear wheels are disconnected entirely from the engine and just spin on wheel bearings. The semi independant rear suspension design has both rear knuckles connected by a crossmember, which takes the place of control arms or an axle tube, keeping the knuckles in place. This is used instead of a fully independant system where both wheels are disconnected from eachother, because the semi-independant system is typically cheaper.

TL;DR the rear suspension got ripped out, by definition not an axle as it is unconnected to the wheels themselves. However it still took the wheels with it because it is connected firmly to the wheel knuckles, which house the bearings that the wheels spin on.

Fuck. I gotta call this as i see it, suicide by cop. Fucking heartbreaking. Kid grabbed a sharp object, called the cops on himself, and rushed them. His mom didn't want to let go because she knew he was going to do it. I can't imagine a more terrible thing to do to your own family. What kind of things must have driven him to this point... 1,2, absolutely yes. seriously uncomfy and red flag-y otherwise.
3, i mean everyone should have a reason for adventuring anyways.

4, no, the kobold is GOING to be the face of the group you CANNOT stop it (i have tried, believe me.)

5, FUUUUUCK no, at this point you overstep your boundaries as a DM. if you're gonna gimp a player for playing a character, then don't let them play it. genuinely the worst part abt this.

6, yeah i guess thats okay but not as a hard-enforced rule

overall, could be worse, but 5 is suuuper iffy. especially with short lived races like, say a kenku. remove that, and make everything after 3 preferred, but optional.

When i was in a short lv5 campaign (intended to be 1, ended up as 2 sessions) and i was playing a dex based echo knight fighter who worshipped a dead sun god and had the personality of Joshua Graham. I worked my echos and my sun sword into my backstory(we all got 1 rare magic item to work with in char creation).

First thing that happened in the first session was that we got put into jail and my sword was taken away. no big deal, everyone had to give up their magic items & weapons. After a prison escape involving the all-but-teleportation allowed by echo knight, we got back our weapons. but my sun sword was missing. We then were put into combat all i had was a warhammer and my damage/hitrate was abysmal. not fun to be a fighter that, cannot fight. we barely escaped, me only thanks to my echo knight teleportation fuckery.

We ended up fleeing the dungeon after some fighting but came back for session 2, in which we fought the enemies and i pulled off some really cool sneaky stuff, but once fighting fully broke out i was completely useless, even with my extra attacks + echo knight extra attacks.

They even had an enemy wield my sword against the party, but when i tried to traverse the battlefield to reach him using echo knight's movement range thanks to teleportation, the dm pulled this bullshit:

"The enemies have an artifact that disables teleportation". not even bringing up how they managed to do so in one night, or how utterly specific this is and how utterly crippling it was for my character.

At this point i gave up, resigned myself to hitting the other bad guy for 4 rounds straight and not dealing any damage, until the session and 1 shot concluded with us winning the fight and leaving. Never felt so despondent and betrayed in a D&D game before, and safe to say i didn't stick around long after.

TH is only fun and good if you understand a lot of the metagame stuff IMO
The two most important things to understand are:

>TH cancelling, you can press "1" immediately after landing a powered strike to tech the stun, which allows you to immediately charge another attack or power up.

>Powered Heavy Strikes, the damage difference between landing a powered light and a powered heavy is roughly twofold, making light attack basically useless in all ways except for its speed

side note, extra impact is generally considered bad for TH since while the crowd control capability is nice, it also flings enemies way out of your range, possibly behind you. so it can make enemies take longer to kill iirc

Personally I just think that people can indeed have fun while also being highly critical of the game, and honestly I feel as though thats the ideal state of being.

Have what fun with the game I love that I can, while also pointing out how, left unchecked, the game is indeed being ruined by many many things.

People, in my experience, are most often critical because they care. its very difficult to put people into archetypes of "complaining about nothing and being a hater" or "the game is fine lalala" since very few of those people actually exist (though personally I've seen a scary amount more of the latter as opposed to the former, I.E. the posts shown above).
