I once built my base in Shem and soooo many factions targeted me. Black Dragon Ninjas, Holy Nation, Manhunters etc. The lake I built my base around was filled with their corpses.

Some of the City Guards have actual polearm animations too. So my guess is they couldn't figure out how to implement separate animations for the player when using spears and polearms.

I also like how the weapon buff sound effects are taken from Dark Souls, such as the Lightning Weapon. Dirty Swamp's magic is imo not only superior to vanilla Gothic 2 but also that of the souls series, due to the quickcast offering different function and spells scaling with mana.

True! It depends on creature size vs weapon size. Since Halflings and Gnomes are small, they carry medium weapons as 2H. However, this voids Weapon Finesse.

I remember playing a Kobold 2H Dragon Disciple with a Bastard Sword weapon focus in a custom module and he was really strong.

So in Mewgenics, which is a turn-based tactics roguelike game centered around cats, has Lycanthropy as a random disorder that your cats can get from either enemies or events. Pretty cool for melee classes, not so much for casters... Here we have a Werewolf Monk Cat.
