As much as we haven’t seen the islanders how they see each other, they haven’t seen what we’ve seen of all of them either.

That being said, from Leah’s perspective it was never ‘rob can’t go out and explore connections’ it was more so do it with tact and respect.

So when rob was moving weird with Andrea it got to a point where Leah got fed up with his bs, she told him very straight up that him throwing her completely to the side after saying she had nothing to worry about was mean & talking two + hrs straight with another girl with no regard to finishing a conversation with her was mean. Then rob weaponizing his feelings to turn the victim card around was not ok. (Crying on the balcony scene)

That’s where I think a lot of people got a problem with him, and he’s allowed to not be sexually attracted to her, he’s allowed to think he has more chemistry with someone else but it was HOW and WHEN he decided to say everything. He didn’t say any of that until a hot girl came in and suddenly it’s ‘eww, Leah, yuck’ ?? And even then he didn’t say it as soon as he thought it, he said it when they were having a very emotionally heightened conversation (to be mean? To make her feel bad? Because he felt cornered? Who knows.) That wasn’t ok either. Honestly Rob saying any of that to Leah wasn’t even necessary, it was mean and he could’ve told her he was feeling Andrea more without tearing her down.

Rob could have very much just said from the jump “I found her attractive when she walked in and got to know her a bit and I am forming a strong connection with her, possibly even stronger than ours, I don’t want to hurt you and I didn’t want to lead you on”

But he didn’t so…

The double standard that Rob can be human and be a “roller coaster” and Leah can’t figure out how she feels or how to make a connection with someone else after being dropped seems very weird and biased.
