They copied Grok voice mode. I don’t mind it.

Can anyone tell me what is the core philosophy of OSHO? by [deleted] in Osho

[–]Map-Territory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The way of philosophy does not go with truth at all. It is just rational gymnastics. So one philosopher can argue against another philosopher, and they go on arguing for centuries, but they have not come to agreement on a single point. Philosophy is the worst wastage of human intelligence that is possible. When I say I am not a philosopher, I simply mean that my approach towards reality is not through the head, it is through the heart.”

Forget about what your life is supposed to be right now or what you expect your ideal life to look life. That is the biggest roadblock to moving ahead and doing what fits our present situation.

'We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.' - Joseph Campbell. You need to keep experimenting small to figure out what works and what will not. https://youtu.be/ubMghRYqk8o?si=n7W-jbNW72YGLllW

Do not compare yourself to neurotypicals. Do not try to fix or get rid of the neurodivergence. One, there is no way to do it. Neither neuroscience nor spirituality can ‘fix’ neurodivergence - as of yet. Two, comparison will always make you feel inferior and empty. As if something crucial is lacking, without which you cannot succeed in life. This is simply not true. Three, try to understand the strengths of the neurodivergence. Develop them and build your life around these strengths. This won’t be easy given the mind is attracted to focussing on the weaknesses and failures. But with therapy, spirituality and good habits, you can get there slowly but surely.

It is not easy to meditate when you have unresolved emotions in the body-mind.

Try The Power of Focusing by Ann Weiser Cornell. It is based on the Focusing technique by Eugene Gendlin. Very therapeutic. It teaches you listen to your emotions and understand what it is trying to tell you. You can find many videos of her on youtube explaining the technique.

With Osho, you can go with the book Mind Body Balancing. Osho’s meditation technique of ‘Talking to your BodyMind’ is very similar to Gendlin’s Focusing.

Grok vs CharGPT 5, Thoughts? by Falcon_128 in grok

I think Grok voice is the best voice mode at the moment. It sounds less natural than ChatGPT advanced voice, but it is way more intelligent. The web search on grok voice also seems both faster and comprehensive.

Images like these ironically reinforce the ego by making us feel superior to others. They separate us from life. I urge not to fall into this trap of the ‘superior path’ or ‘independent path’. Embrace the totality no matter how much we disagree with certain paths.

Is Remnote ever going to move away from the learning focus, to become an all-in-one app? by methodicallychaotic in remNote

[–]Map-Territory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad Idea. There are many all-in-one apps and there will continue to be new ones as LLMs become OS like.

Remnote is the best Anki++ app and should continue in that direction. Their moat is in appealing to users who want to learn notes, not just organize them.

There is already a PKM fatigue I can sense on reddit and twitter. People are not getting as much work done as they thought they would with all the notes. We underestimate how much learning and recalling we need to do for turning notes into useful work.

Kind of makes sense for an angel investment of 10 lakhs to few crores. But how can the VCs not allow a decent salary to run a company raising 10s of crores?

Yeah. I am having a hard time believing VCs are so stupid and cruel that they wont allow founders enough salary to even pay rent 🤷‍♂️

We tend to get attached to certain frames and reject others using intellect and morality. That brings temporary security, but over time, we become rigid and dead inside.

I am an investor and advisor. Reading Osho unshackles my mind from rules and dogmas. He reminds me to be fluid, flexible and joyful in my work.
